Exploring Mixed Media

This class will emphasize experimentation, exploration of materials and having fun! We will make a variety of collage papers with acrylic paint and inks, using a gel plate, hand-made brushes, stamps and other mark-making tools. We will explore ways to use these papers in collage, working in a series of small paintings, either abstractly or realistically. Other options for using the papers may include scrolls, books or vessels. This class will be an ongoing class on the second Friday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
